My favourite places to read

I read pretty much anyway, but I do have some favourite places…..

 

UP A TREE: At the bottom of my garden there is a apple tree and when I was a little younger I alway use to read in it but any tree with a big thick branch and smooth bark is perfect.

 

ON A BEAN BAG: I have a big blue bean bag in my room the is super soft and it heats up by the radiator.I can lie it flat or propped it and it is great if you have a sore back.

 

ON THE SOFA: I love making a cushion nest and lying on my back and reading after sports it is super relaxing and in the winter I like to have a blanket as well.

 

ON A BLANKET OUTSIDE: On a hot summers day I love to get a blanket and a couple of cushions and lie on my back in the garden or if its hot enough we’ll drive down to the beach and I love to lie on the hot sand.

Here is some ideas…

ANNE OF GREEN GABLES:

Anne: A straw hat and a flowery dress will look great and try to find one that is less modern looking and more Edwardian you can also add a white apron and plaiting your hair will add to the effect .To saving money you can just wear a simple blue dress and an apron.

Diana: Diana is looks more rich than Anne so her costume will be more extravagant. A white dress (ideally with puffy sleeves ) and a white hat tripped with ribbon will do the trick although this can be expensive so you can just wear a white shirt and a long skirt.

 

MATILDA:

Matilda: Matilda is a big bookworm so an obvious part of her costume is a book or two. In the illustrations she is always depicted on a blue dress.This is an easy thing to find in the charity shop or online and as she is a child you can always just use a young-looking dress and a white top and a red hair ribbon.

 

ALICE IN WONDERLAND:

Alice: A blue hair ribbon and blue dress will be perfect. She is also reading a book in the first chapter so one will be good as well.

The queen of hearts: This is the sort of thing that would be best found on the internet and bought online. The make-up and face paint is something you can have a lot of fun with.
